PERAN BIDAN PADA PENATALAKSANAAN TOKOFOBIA PADA WANITA HAMIL

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Tokofobia (Fobia melahirkan) adalah ketakutan seseorang dalam menghadapi proses persalinan yang dipengaruhi factor psikologis dan fisiologis. Tokophobia sering ditandai dengan ketakutan yang berlebihan dan disertai dengan menghindari untuk hamil bahkan memiliki keinginan untuk aborsi, dan menghindari untuk bersalin pervaginam yang mengakibatkan permintaan Caesar karena tokofobia sering terjadi. Tokofobia bisa terjadi karena memiliki takut akan nyeri persalinan, kekhawatiran terhadap bayinya, ataupun memiliki pengalaman traumatis atas persalinan sebelumnya.

Tujuan Review: Untuk mengetahui peran bidan pada penatalaksanaan tokofobia (Fobia melahirkan) pada Wanita hamil.

Metode: Metode Scoping review format: Population, the Phenomena of Interest and the Context (PICO).

Kesimpulan: 6 artikel dilakukan review didapat hasil seleksi 5 dari negara maju dan 1 dari negara berkembang, terdapat 2 artikel dari Swedia, 1 artikel dari Norwegia, 1 dari Australia, 1 dari Finlandia dan 1 dari Iran. Tenaga Kesehatan terutama bidan memiliki peran penting dalam mengurangi rasa takut yang berlebihan salah satu cara dengan memberikan konseling dapat mengubah sudut pandang Wanita akan ketakutan yeng mereka alami dengan memberikan dukungan psikologis maupun fisiologis. Dukungan yang dilakukan oleh bidan dapat mengurangi angka permintaan Sectio Caesaria.
