HUBUNGAN KUALITAS DIIT DAN KONTROL KADAR GLUKOSA DARAH PASIEN DM TIPE 2 PESERTA PROGRAM PROLANIS

Latar Belakang: Kualitas diit yang baik diperlukan untuk kontrol kadar glukosa darah bagi seorang penderita diabetes mellitus tipe 2 (DMT2).
Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan kualitas diit penderita DMT2 dengan kadar glukosa darah pada peserta PROLANIS di Kota Padang
Metode: Penelitian di laksanakan di Kota Padang dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 78 orang yang berasal dari Puskesmas Rawang, Sebarang Padang, dan Anak Air. Data kualitas diit responden diperoleh melalui wawancara menggunakan Semi Quantitative Food Frequency Questionaire. Data kemudian dianalisis menggunakan Alternate Healthy Eating Index yang diadaptasi sesuai Pedoman Gizi Seimbang Indonesia. Uji korelasi Spearman dilakukan untuk melihat hubungan antar variabel.
Hasil: Hasil menunjukan bahwa 69,2% responden merupakan wanita dan 50% responden tergolong ke dalam usia dewasa madya (40-59 tahun). Tingkat pengetahun gizi 66,7% responden juga tergolong sedang. Status gizi 52,6% responden tergolong gizi lebih bahkan ada yang tergolong obes III. Kadar glukosa darah 51,3% responden pun juga tidak terkontrol (³180 mg/dL). Kualitas diit responden diketahui tidak ada yang tegolong tinggi dan 69,2% diantaranya masih membutuhkan perbaikan. Hasil uji Spearman antara kualitas diit dan kadar glukosa darah responden menunjukan nilai p-value sebesar 0,387.
Simpulan: Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara kualitas diit responden dan kadar glukosa darahnya pada penelitian ini.
