FAKTOR RISIKO KELELAHAN KERJA PADA PERAWAT

Abstract

Latar Belakang Masalah: Secara umum perawat bekerja dalam shift yang sangat panjang. Biro Statistik Australia melaporkan pada tahun 2010 bahwa 75% pekerja shift adalah profesional kesehatan. Proporsi pekerja shift yang tinggi di antara perawat juga dilaporkan di Amerika Serikat, di mana perawat menyumbang sekitar 60% dari jadwal kerja shift siang dan malam sehingga membuat kelelahan dalam bekerja

Tujuan : untuk mengetahui gambaran dan faktor risiko kelelahan pada perawat.

Metode: Artikel ini menggunakan metode pendekatan literature review dengan desain studi cross-sectioal. Artikel dicari melalui database elektronik secara sistematis di Google Scholar, Science Direct dan PubMed dengan menggunakan kata kunci (risk factor AND work fatigue AND nurses).

Hasil: Berdasarkan hasil ekstraksi data dari search engine metode Google Scholar, Science Direct dan PubMed terdapat 30 jurnal dipilih berdasarkan kriteria inklusi. Kelelahan tertinggi pada perawat rumah sakit terjadi pada perawat shift malam karena dampak fisiologis dari kualitas tidur yang buruk dan gangguan pada ritme sirkadian perawat dapat menyebabkan kelelahan pada staf rumah sakit.

Kesimpulan: Studi ini berfungsi sebagai informasi dasar untuk melihat gambaran dan faktor risiko kelelahan pada perawat. Untuk itu, perlunya upaya preventif dalam mengatasi kelelahan yang dialami perawat diantaranya dengan perencanaan, manajemen risiko kelelahan, manajemen insiden, pemantauan dan jaminan serta promosi kesehatan.
