PERAN PERAWAT DALAM MENGATASI MALNUTRISI PADA ANAK DENGAN KANKER

Malnutrisi hampir dialami oleh 50% anak dengan kanker terutama anak yang mendapatkan terapi seperti kemoterapi dan radiasi. Malnutrisi sangat berkaitan erat dengan gangguan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak dengan kanker. Perawat sebagai pemberi pelayanan 24 jam menjadi bagian dari sentral dalam perawatan anak kanker yang mengalami malnutrisi. Peran perawat dalam konteks ini terdiri dari tiga aspek yaitu perawat sebagai pemberi pelayanan, perawat sebagai pendidik, dan perawat sebagai advokat. Optimalisasi peran peran diharapkan dapat berkontribusi terhadap perbaikan status nutrisi anak dengan kanker.References
